Due to the current situation with COVID-19 is not settled and remains uncertain, particularly with variants of the virus, the IPA Executive Committee decided that the 12th ICOP in Lanzhou, scheduled for June 2022 has been canceled. The organisers considered holding an online conference, but due to the time differences, the arrangements would be impractical.
Thanks for the understanding on the situation. We hope that the epidemic will soon be over and we will talk about the development of permafrost science and research in the 12th ICOP.
